This Data Protection Notice explains how Masy handles information when you use the DanceTrack Studio MVP design features in the app. Masy is a personal dance training record tool that helps users save training plans, session duration, notes, photos, focus tags, progress summaries, and archive records. This policy describes what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.
Masy is designed for private practice management. It is not a social network, not a public community, not a live class platform, and not a medical, rehabilitation, or injury diagnosis service. User training photos, notes, plans, and logs are intended for personal use and management only.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encrypted communications where applicable, secure storage practices, logging of important system events, and limiting internal access to data on a need-to-know basis.
Where content is stored locally on your device, protection also depends on your own device security settings, such as passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, backup settings, and operating system protections. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risks and respond appropriately if a security issue is identified.
If any app feature uses automated processing to organize or generate training-related output, all such AI or algorithmic processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers or within our own controlled application environment. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data.
We do NOT use your data, uploads, notes, photos, logs, generated results, or any other content for AI model training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization. Temporary processing data is deleted after processing is complete. Uploaded content used for processing is deleted after processing unless you choose to save the resulting record in your app history. Any saved result remains under your control and may be deleted by you at any time within the app, where available.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, review, correct, update, delete, or export certain information associated with your use of Masy. You may also withdraw consent for optional permissions, such as camera or photo library access, by changing your device settings.
You can manage much of your information directly in the app, including deleting training logs, plans, notes, photos, and archive entries you no longer want to keep. If you need additional help regarding your information, you may contact us using the email listed in Part 14.
We use information only to operate, maintain, and improve the core app experience. This includes creating session logs, saving training plans, recording duration, attaching notes and photos, generating progress summaries, building archive views, restoring data where applicable, providing customer support, detecting technical issues, and maintaining app security.
We do NOT use user data for AI training. We do NOT use user data for advertising. We do NOT profile users for behavioral targeting or marketing segmentation. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT use user-uploaded or user-generated content for any unrelated commercial purpose.
We may update this Data Protection Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we make material changes, we may revise the effective date and provide notice through the app, the app listing, or another appropriate method. Your continued use of Masy after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated notice will apply, to the extent permitted by law.
Information you provide directly: training plans, custom plan details, training duration, session dates and times, practice notes, focus tags, difficulty selections, repeat targets, style and difficulty filters, uploaded training photos, archive records, and support messages you choose to send.
Information collected automatically: basic technical information may be collected for app functionality and reliability, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language setting, approximate diagnostic event timing, and crash or error information.
Cookies and similar technologies: the mobile app may not use browser cookies in the traditional web sense, but it may use local storage, cached files, or similar technologies necessary to remember preferences, maintain app functionality, and support performance and diagnostics.
Permissions-based information: if you choose to use photo-related features, the app may request access to the camera, photo library, or permission to save exported archive images to your photo library. These permissions are requested only when needed for the related feature.
Depending on your location and the technical setup used to operate the service, information may be processed or stored in countries or regions other than your own. Where international processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with applicable law and this policy. By using Masy, you understand that your information may be processed in different regions where our systems or service providers operate.
Masy does NOT perform facial recognition. Masy does NOT perform biometric analysis. Masy does NOT create face templates, facial maps, or biometric identifiers from user photos. The app is intended to store private training images as personal records only.
If a photo contains a person’s face, that image is treated only as ordinary user content for your personal record. We do not analyze it for identity, emotion, biometric traits, or face matching. Any temporary processing data, if created during feature execution, is deleted after processing is complete.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic infrastructure operations. If used, these providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions, are bound by contractual obligations to ensure data security, and are NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
These infrastructure providers do NOT use data for advertising or user profiling. They do NOT use data for AI training or model optimization. They do NOT use data for their own purposes or redistribute it. They do NOT independently access or use user content except as technically necessary to provide the contracted infrastructure service under our control.
We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, lawful process, or valid governmental request, or if necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the app. Any such disclosure will be limited to what is legally required.
Masy is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that information from a user under 17 has been provided to us without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as required by applicable law.
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
By downloading, accessing, or using Masy, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Data Protection Notice and agree to the collection, use, storage, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
